When Yes! Organic Market opened its first store in 1970 in Georgetown, Washington, DC, their concept was, “Off the beaten path, there is a little oasis called Yes! A place for people who try to live in harmony with nature, and who have a loving concern for what they do, how they do it, and for the earth they share.” As requested by its founder, we kept the traditional calligraphy on the logo type, and developed the BI around it that is in harmony with its founding spirit.
